On 26th May, an EU Directive came into force regulating the use of cookies on websites. The EU says it will improve privacy on the internet but all it does is make the internet unusable if you don't accept them and duplicates functionality already in browsers.

There is a bright spot on the horizon however. I was out and about this evening and people were very keenly aware of what was happening.
The EU may have won this battle, but it makes our job a lot easier, as our home grown politicians will no longer have a pretence to hide behind.
I entirely agree. What's more, UKIP's the only party which has consistently stated that it would rather be out of the EU.
The Taxpayers' Alliance are promoting a new book: Ten Years On: Britain Without the European Union, which UKIPers might want to read. It explores the state of Britain 10 years after exiting from the EU.
